This has been due to high water costs, labor shortages, agricultural terror (including theft of produce, demands of mafia style protection, and land squatting). How the JFF Works
The Jewish Farming Fund (JFF) was established to help alleviate many of the challenges currently being experienced in Jewish farming. JFF is not a charity. JFF is the matchmaker between ideological investors seeking to assist in strengthening Jewish sovereignty and the farmers and volunteers physically working the land with renewed confidence.
Investing in the JFF gives a head-start to develop fruit tree orchids and to maintain them for the first few years after planting to allow the roots to take hold. These investments encourage much faster roll out of new orchids including initial employment of Jewish agriculture workers.
Having more workers in the fields on a regular basis greatly reduces theft and vandalism, while promoting more stable and sustainable profits.
